Jongmo Kang (né en 1991 en Corée du Sud) vit et travaille à Nice. Diplômé du DNSEP de la Villa Arson en 2026 avec la mention à l'exposition, et du DNA en 2024, il est également titulaire d'une licence en storytelling et contenus culturels de l'Université Catholique de Corée. Sa pratique associe installation, sculpture et photographie, à partir de matériaux tels que le plâtre, le voile, le latex, le hanji et le plexiglas. Son travail a été présenté en France, en Corée du Sud et en Chine, notamment au Centre d'art contemporain de la Villa Arson (Nice), à Space Uooyoung (Séoul) et au Oui Arts Center (Jingdezhen). Depuis 2022.
강종모(1991년 한국 출생)는 니스에 거주하며 활동한다. 2026년 니스 국립고등미술학교 빌라 아르송(Villa Arson)에서 DNSEP(조형예술 석사)를 전시 부문 심사위원 언급과 함께 취득했으며, 2024년 동교에서 DNA(조형예술 학사)를, 가톨릭대학교에서 스토리텔링·문화콘텐츠 학사를 취득했다. 석고, 베일, 라텍스, 한지, 플렉시글라스 등의 재료를 바탕으로 설치, 조각, 사진을 아우르는 작업을 전개한다. 빌라 아르송 현대미술센터(니스), 유영공간(서울), Oui Arts Center(징더전) 등 프랑스, 한국, 중국에서 작품을 선보였다.
Jongmo Kang (b. 1991, South Korea) lives and works in Nice, France. He received his DNSEP (MFA) from Villa Arson in 2026 with the jury's distinction for the exhibition, following his DNA (BFA) in 2024, and holds a bachelor's degree in storytelling and cultural contents from the Catholic University of Korea. His practice spans installation, sculpture, and photography, working with materials such as plaster, voile, latex, hanji, and plexiglass.
